Behind OneLevel is a small, passionate family business with a big goal: to create smart, high-quality solutions for multivans. But our story is more than just the development of a product - it's about family, innovation and the idea of creating something special, even in challenging times.
How it all started
It was a time when the world suddenly fell silent — the era of the coronavirus pandemic. Before this, we had equipped our T6 California in a practical way to make traveling more comfortable with our growing family. But as any campervan owner knows, it doesn’t take long to spot areas ripe for improvement.
One challenge kept nagging at us: the ‘lost’ step. No matter how hard we tried, this space always became a catch-all for toys, knick-knacks, and whatever else the kids found fascinating. During countless drives, we found ourselves thinking, This space has to be closed off! And yet, we kept asking, Why is this area going to waste?
When the world slowed down during lockdowns, we seized the moment to bring our idea to life. And so, the OneLevel step insert was born.
From the idea to the unique product
The development process was an exciting journey filled with valuable lessons. Step by step, what began as a simple idea evolved into a fully realized product.
